Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Wines: "15% customs duties mean 30% more on the consumer price in the United States."

On the night of July 31, the United States issued a ministerial decree imposing a 15% tariff on most European products, effective August 7. This duty will also affect French and European wines and spirits. The French Wine and Spirits Exporters Federation deplores this and calls for new negotiations. Its president, Gabriel Picard, explains why.
